This cultivar was bred in Cape Ann Massachusetts by a friend who gifted me seeds. Her lineage is Grandpa’s Breath F2 from Dungeon Vault Genetics crossed with a Sour Power OG male from Karma Genetics. She gives off a cologne like odor, has dark green and purple hues with a tight bud structure and bright orange hairs.
The combination of the upbeat feeling of the Sour Power OG and the pain relief relaxed feeling of the Grandpa's Breath makes this a perfect adaptable strain for relaxing or during an activity.
It was 2019, a friend of mine from Gloucester MA was giving me help with my grow when he mentioned he dabbled in breeding. He had been making a bunch of Sour Power OG crosses. He had given me several packs of seeds, one being Odin’s Breath.
I planted the pack and chose this phenotype as my keeper. At the time I kept her because of the purple hues she produces and strong smell of citrus and 1980's cheap cologne.
Once my friends started trying this strain and the reviews were coming back, I realized I had something really special to work with. Now it’s 2023, a friend and I have been passing cuts of this back and forth to keep her alive because to the best of my knowledge no more seeds exist.
I am currently in the middle of my first feminized breeding project. I took an Odin’s Breath clone and started spraying her with silver thiosulfate on day 1 of flower, in order to reverse her genetics and make her think she is a male plant. Her pollen sacks just like her flowers are green with purple hues. She is accompanied by another Odin’s Breath female cut as well as 5 other strains I wanted to try breeding her with.
